Sell Crouch while we still can get a decent price for him would make a lot of sense me thinks.
    Agree on all of that.

Crouch is not good enough for United, Chavs or the Arse therefore not good enough for us in my eyes. He is a useful player and has many qualities but to take that final step from also rans to champions he does not possess the qualities of a Rooney or Henry. We need that calibre player upfront in we want to be champions again!
      Dare we believe

I would maybe have allowed him a bad game despite feeling angry towards him except for one thing. When he realised he was being substituted he mouthed "For F*cks sake" which was caught on camera. If he doesn't know why he was being hauled off then he should watch the match again and listen to the commentators. Three times he had clear headers. Three times he put weak headers in, the second two straight at Friedel more or less. Why didn't he try something different - a bit of power, some height, or better still at the gaping net to Friedel's left?

To mouth off at being subbed when you are the main reason your team's losing isn't clever.

He had a bad day at the office, we do need to have strikers to put the chances created in the onion bag but i'm not convinced that getting rid of crouch is the answer

He was guilty of bad misses today but its not entirely his fault. He was on fire a while ago and his reward was to be dumped on the bench for a run of games. As a result he's lost that vital match sharpness. He dosen't have the quality that some players have that can sit on their arse for ages, then come in a score goals.

that said I think he should be on the bench cos for me Bellamy and Kuyt are our best pairing.

He doesn't make the team better. The team have to adapt to his playing style rather than him adapting to the teams style.

We really don't know if Bellamy and Kuyt is good enough against the best teams or in tough away games. Crouch isn't good enough against them.

So far Bellamy and Kuyt have been good enough against teams that we should beat but not against top class teams.

When they deliver in the difficult games then I can say that they are good enough.

That is what we are missing. A striker that scores against any team in the World.

I'm not convinced about any of our strikers YET.

Bellamy is getting better and better and Kuyt the same but they must start to deliver against top class teams.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

We create a lot of chances - but we do not captialise on them.

Is this the strikers fault or those players getting the ball to them ?

The reality is we create chances but do not finish. Look at players like Anelka who can finish with just the faintest opportunity. We never get those in !

Crouch should go - he is average and LFC deserve world class !

Why do you think that we have been linked with Villa the last two years?

Rafa knows about our finishing problem. If the strikers don't deliver, then they will be off. No one is safe IMO.

Our defense - world class & pretty much up there as one of the best units around
Our midfield - world class players, just need another piece to complete the puzzle
Our stikers - not world class, just average

We need a clinical finisher, a striker that can put them away against anyone and someone who is a real headache for every defense we play against.

I still would love to see Aguero play for us. He has amazing pace and ball control, he is young but has a mature head for the game, and he can make the defence just look stupid ...

                        SA - Sergio Aguero
                        DV - Villa

I like that set up !

Pathetic that a 6'7 striker can't head the ball - also gets caught offside at vital moments (eg today, and the disallowed goal at the Emirates which is probably why we lost the game) - not sure if it's cos he's slow or just thick

7% conversion rate last season in the PL. Most headers in the box out of all the players in the PL. 2 headed goals! TWO! The worst conversion rate out of all the top 10 teams strikers in the PL last season. He had a 22% conversion rate the season before. This season he has managed 2 PL goals. He's on his way to another 7% conversion rate season. What I think?

                              Sell sell SELL!

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

I didn't think his record was as bad as this. Obviously his poor ratio has been masked by a raft of goals against Jamaica, Andorra and Greece.
