It blows my mind that people still dismiss Ronaldo as a showpony with no end product. It really goes to show that a lot of fans out there don't watch much football and base their opinions on some snippet they read in the Mirror a couple years back.

He has pulled his **** together over the past year or so. From all those stepovers to a player who is on target to hit 15 goals and create just as many and cause god knows how many problems for Defenders.

If the stories were true that we were close to signing him before the mancs swooped, then we have lost out. In any event the type of player Ronaldo is developing into is one that would benefit us immensley. The lad has really matured and has, unfortunately for us, many more yers ahead of him to get better.

Diouf was 21 when he signed for Liverpool. Ronaldo was 18 when he signed for Man U. There is a difference.

Of course, signing Diouf was a mistake.
