I like him but the team always comes first.
True, he has little impact of the bench (scored Zero last season), and the other 4 you mention must be higher up in the pecking order now.
    We come not to play.

        That says it all really.

So when he doesn't start then he is more or less "useless".

Rafa showed today again that it's Torres or Crouch, not Torres and Crouch upfront.

Crouch won't play that much this season because we need Torres on the pitch.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'm beginning to agree. He doesn't really seem to give us options.

He was the best striker in the French league last season and has started excellent this season.

Rafa likes him, at least he has said so, and I wouldn't be surprised if it will be Crouch out and Elmander in.

              Just a hunch.

Elmander, from what I've seen, is no better than Crouch. He's also very lazy and a poser. Crouch, at least, is level headed and a worker most of the time.

Elmander is an average player if ever there was one.

Woah woah woah, just hold your horses there AFII.

Let's examine the logic you're using:

Kuyt offers us more than Crouch because there is more to his game.
Yet Crouch has scored more goals than Kuyt.

BUT when Crouch doesn't score from the bench, he offers us nothing at all.

Now, I'm not saying Crouch offers more than Kuyt but his goal ratio is better. But you have to use the same criteria if you are going to compare the 2 players. So by saying Crouch offers us nothing when he comes on as a sub is completely unfair, unless you're saying Kuyt offers us nothing when he doesn't score.
Crouch offers more than just goals.

Heading? No, Pace, No, Strength, No, Goals, maybe last season nothing to note this season, assists, no

Opinion is obviously split between the two but I'd say that Kuyt is a better player than Crouch and if we had to sell one it'd be Crouch. I wouldn't like to see either go though. What I would like to see is Crouch knuckling down and taking his chance with both hands next time it comes along.

Kuyt offers us better link up play and more effective hard work. I don't think Crouch goal/game is better than Kuyt in the PL for us.

Crouch is more effective in europe because they are not used to play against his type of player. More or less every team in the PL has a big player upfront so they play againt a Crouch type of player week in week out.

Rafa talks alot abot controlling the game and his Valencia side were a great team at keeping the ball and making the opposition chase. With Kuyt in the team he links well,he can run onto balls in behind even though he is'nt a sprinter and he holds the ball up well.I presume that is what Rafa wants from him.

Today again we saw that Crouch is normally static when he gets the ball and cant run the channels or get past a defender. He kept losing the ball today and putting pressure on the defence. He was not contributing anything for me.

What exactly does he offer consistently other than goals?

Well you're looking at his limited games this season. Assists don't just mean the final ball, there are runs off the ball etc.
It's very naive/facetious to say he offers nothing.
                                What does Kuyt offer then?
