                  I remember watching Tommy Smith, a great player who oozed menace and took no prisoners.
                  With players of his quality and never say die attitude we were a true machine.

                                Smith was undoubtably a great player for Liverpool, but I can't see past the above, and I certainly don't buy into this 'different era' ****. Racism should be condemned irrespective of who said it and when.
