Not seen this posted, but the deal breakdown is as follows:
€2.725m = £2.2mJuventus Football Club announces that an agreement has been finalized with Liverpool F.C. for the disposal of the registration rights of the player Christian Poulsen for a consideration of € 5.475 million to be paid in two instalments: € 2.725 million immediately upon the execution of the contract and € 2.75 million on 1 July 2011. Deferred payment is covered by a bank guarantee.
This operation generates a non significant capital gain in the 2010/2011 financial year.
The consideration for the disposal may increase by a further maximum of € 1.2 million on achieving given sports performances in the course of the duration of the contract.
€2.75m = £2.26m
€1.2m = £988k
So that's £2.2m up front, £2.3m in a year's time and another £1m depending on a success/performance bonus.
So the total amount payable, give or take a few quid and assuming the performance/success payment is triggered, will basically be £5.5m.

Well in the Jovanovic thread some one posted a tube of him head butting someone, and everyone thought he was a ****ing hero. He might not be a great player, Poulsen, but at least lets be consistent about it.Originally posted by Taxi View PostReally?

Rean an interview with Flemming Østergaard, the chairman of FC Copenhagen when Christian Poulsen played there. He said he was one of the finest persons he have met and then he told about the me when Poulsen signed for Schalke. They wanted him right away after signing the contract, so he didn't have time to say goodbye to the players and staff at FC Copenhagen. Instead he wrote a nice check to the ´players´penalty-box´ and also one to the coaching staff as a thank you for their part in his development.
Østergaard wouldn't say the amount.
