De Boer was always set up to fail - Palace had Fat Sam before him who bought players to fit a system alien to De Boer. Those guys playing Sam's tactics and then total football is about as much as a culture shock as you could get.

De Boer should have kept elements such as the defensive shape and gradually apply his thought process to the players. Bad move by both De Boer and Palace IMO

Yeah this is one of the few times ya can't really argue with a player getting a public hammering, he was an absolute selfish tit. As usual though Hodgson has waffled on and ended up making a **** of himself.

Yeah, Big **** Chris has (unsurprisingly) an abysmal record with PK's apparently whilst the other guy has scored his last 4 including one in the game.
