There was that phone-in on LFCTV, but the real turning point was the 1-0 home defeat to Wolves. After they scored, the stadium was quiet for a bit, and then unified in turning against the manager, chanting for Dalglish, and for Hodgson to manage England.

I never thought I'd see the day when Anfield would turn against the manager as openly, and in such a united fashion as I saw that night, and never would I expect to see it again. Roy Hodgson was the AntiChrist of Liverpool Football Club.

He destroyed expectations and sapped the life out of us, regularly sending us out with his excuses for defeat already made. Absolutely cannot stand him. Incompetence is one thing, but I really feel the guy is just a selfish ****house. The only manager we've had that I have no time or respect for.

Couldn't have put it better myself even if I wanted to. To this day I can't believe anyone actually thought putting him in charge of this great club was a good idea. As the bespectacled Beatle once said "Strange days indeed......most peculiar mama".
