Speaking of Hodgson, he really must be feeling an even bigger chump now than he did when he was in charge.

The consensus from where I am was that he looked to be a very good player, but Hodgson was failing to get the most put of him.

He is certainly not a right midfielder.

Only criticism was a lack of bottle in challenges. Still think he is a bit soft in midfield but he makes up for it in other areas.

He is certainly not a right midfielder.

There was lot of doubters questioning his abilities in PL. Sure the way Roy playing him on the right didn't help but very few said that he was good enough for us.

I think he showed in last 4,5 games that he can clearly be a big time impact player for us.

Once we have Suarez and Carroll and hopefully a winger in the summer he can be even more deadly.

Said it 100 times before, my main problem with Raul was his lack of fight - bottling tackles and what have you.
I've doubted his ability to adapt to the English game but at no stage have i written him off.

Fair play to him, he's in great form, thought he was a bit quiet today tbh but great finish for the goal and he worked his nuts off.

Meireles has been fantastic under Kenny, delighted kenny has catered to Meireles's game, pushing him higher up the pitch utilizing his best assets, rather than get him embroiled in the CM battle, which IMO does not suit his game and was a major concern for me, leave that to Lucas & Gerrard.

He makes great runs and has super strike of the ball, playing him higher up the pitch has benefitted us greatly, delighted for the lad looks a different player in Kenny's system, and long may it last. Well done lad
