Please no! What's to feel sory for, really ?

He'll rediscover his form one day, be lauded and hailed again as one of the best in the world.

In the mean time he has endure a harsh mornings training each day, all the time being forced to pick up £150,000+ a week for his efforts while living in absolute luxury, his families financial future sorted for ever and his every whim pandered to.

So i ask again...what's to feel sorry for ?

And please don't say it's him being a bit upset at not scoring goals just now.

Feeling sorry for Torres!.....you Bloody naana!

      Only slightly.

Unlike others, I don't think he'll come good for Chelsea. I think injuries have robbed him of his explosive pace. Without that pace he's nowhere near being a £50M player.

Torres will never hit the heights of a couple of years ago again, and that's sad for both him and football, despite who he plays for.

Mind you, it does gladden me to realise that we sold him at the right time.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

I had a dream that he scored against us the cunt, ****ing nightmare.
        We come not to play.

It's a sad thing the way that he left us. Still gutted to be honest.

However I think we had the best of him, he acted like a sulky bitch in his final few months, the way he left us was a disgrace and most things he has said since has been pretty disrespectful too.

          I hope he rots.

I can't believe any Liverpool fan would feel sorry for him after what he's said and done.

                Take some medicine.

He's a multimillionaire football player and has won the World Cup. He wanted to leave. He wants to be successful. He is impatient. He wanted to join the chavs...so he did.

You only feel sorry for him because you're projecting your appreciation of LFC onto him. He really didn't appreciate us in the end - I can understand why to a certain extent. But all his sulky mare act did was to make me think we're best off without him.

                And we are.

                He's gone. History.

I'll be glad when El ninnyo and Podge threads disappear altogether. Closure.

not exactly come out with a glowing endorsement of his time at Anfield has he.

He's gone and to be honest good ridence now bought in 2 players who want to be here.

Showed his true colours and I think he bought into the hype about himself a little too much.

You think so? I reckon his best days are gone, similar to Fowler & Owen after 25.

Good point. I think it's just a momentary weakness on my part. I'm sure I'll be filled with blind rage when (if) he scores his first for Chelsea.

Thanks for talking me round lads.

                        Life's too short man.
But I loved him man... and he did this....

TBH I am still gutted he left but the things he is saying just sound like a different person to the Torres we thought we knew.

                          If you take them literally.

He's saying what he thinks he has to. Who knows / cares (delete as appropriate) what he really thinks.
                          Oh I don't know.

I’ve said it a few times, I was delighted when we signed him, elated when he played for us, happy that we got £50m for him and now delighted he helped fund Suarez and Carroll.

I’ve no hard feelings at all, no matter how many goals he scores or what he says.

I’ll'll be cheering him whole heartedly to score against the Mancs and will celebrate wildly. Might even break into tune for him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                                In a nutshell.

I couldn't care less about him now. Although I don't really want to see him being succesful (contradicting myself now).
