The thing that this really highlights is how much the media spin that Torres was a no brainer signing and anyone could get the best out of him was deeply unfair on Rafa. Even last season he was looking a better player than he has under other stewardship (perhaps the brief like up with Kenny apart).

Re: Ancelotti - if he leaves (and I was a betting man) I would have a few bob on Rafa taking over. Big project there with rich owner desperate for CL success. Also, Arnesan has left so the whole running of the football club is up in the air right now.
that's exactly what i thought.. i think ancelotti will defo leave (btw what an absolutely plastic club chelsea is).. i just hope that rafa won't join them.. but unfortunately you never know

If he doesn't win anything the question is will the board keep him?

I remember when they got rid of del Bosque, they'd just won the CL.
        We come not to play.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'd picked up on that as well - Half the time they appear to be playing with ten men -

If Torres hasn't hit the net or least shown he's getting back into form, then i can't see him starting against United in the Champions League.

You'd have to think Carlo will go for the tried and trusted Drogba and Anelka partnership - well Anelka playing to the right and Malouda to the left.

Although Chelsea arent as strong as position as Newcastle were this so far as all the hallmarks of an Asprilla signing.

Bought to strengthen and give them a final push.....and then ****s it all up for them, would be nice if it happened that way*

                        * as long as arsenal win the league and not scum.

I just hope he is sitting there thinking "god i ****ed up!"

harsh, yeah probably but **** him.

The fact that not only Suarez being on fire, but that andy carroll has shown more in his limited minutes after a long lay off, just makes it even more sweeter.

                              My thoughts exactly...
