Bleeding hell. Just because he's a mod doesn't mean everything he posts is about moderating the forum. I'm sure Icon is capable of having the opinion we shouldn't be so bothered about what Torres says all the time whilst also believing we should be allowed to if we do want to. As evidenced by the fact this thread is open...

How did he leave? By putting in a transfer request. OMFG, what an absolute disgrace. And he was playing so well and we didn't bring in anyone to replace him either. Yep, it really sticks in the craw. I don't think any of us will ever get over it.
In my opinion there's a massive difference between the intention of the Rafa thread (i.e. people miss him and are keen to see him do well) and the pathetic sniping at Torres because he upset people by leaving the club.
There's nothing wrong a little Schadenfreude at his expense - I'm partial to it myself - but all this moaning and abuse because people feel let down is nothing more than sad..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Generally, I am required to read it.Originally posted by Lee View PostAre threads about Rafa, Messi, Man United and so on any more or less relevant than us discussing an ex-player of ours? I don't have to explain to you the sort of player Torres was for us do I? Or the circumstances in how he left?
Simple solution is that if you don't like the subject of the thread then don't bother reading it. But you know that, eh?
You knew that, right?

Not much interesting football topics recently thanks to Internationals but a few top quality bitchy ones.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
