That was the final straw. I lost my temper and I ended up ripping his head off and ****ting down his neck. Whether he was frustrated with the state of the club — we had just been close to administration and failed to qualify for the Champions League — or whether he felt he was too good for us was impossible to know. It always felt like he was an outsider.

Everyone's attitude was wrong during the [shudder]Hodgson days[/shudder].Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostI remember getting lampooned on here for starting a thread n here that his attitude looked wrong during the Hodgson days.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I think like Neville they are in a position financially that they do not need to worry about pissing people off. Alot of the older pundits are still trying to get a wage and need to toe the line more.Originally posted by Nigey View PostCarra is a fantastic analyst of the game. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah but he handed his transfer request in under Kenny and we were playing pretty well at the time.Originally posted by Gazzla View PostIn all fairness to Torres, I'd be ****ed off if that Jowly **** was my manager let alone that of a highly paid international footballer"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
