What was that today, his 16th appearance? Looks totally ****ed up to me.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Wow. Torres is gonna end up like so many footballers that could have gone down as legends...in recent times his fall from grace and kaka's are just shocking

          I disagree.

He was scoring goals for us again when Kenny came back and was looking sharp again.

Granted, he wasn't at the level he was at previously, but he was on the up, and he definitely playing much worse now.

Don't forget, he's still in our top 2 scores in the league this season.
          Oh I don't know.

He still looks shot though imo - something is just not right with him - the strange thing is...as you say, he was slowly just about starting to find a bit of fitness and form for us - he'd been in and out with injuries so everyone was saying he was lacking match fitness and then iirc he'd got a run of about 5 or 6 games for us, a couple of goals, and then we sold him...

Now apparently he was fed up at liverpool, unhappy, it was a hell for him, and then he saw a little light at the end of tunnel and it was a move to chelsea and everything was great and rosy and all was happy -

so you'd think, with a run of 5 games or so and a couple of goals for us, getting him back to match sharpness and form and then the chance to get rid of the shackles of LFC life, that he'd go to chelsea and explode...

not only has that not happened - but it's gone worse for him - he's been ****ing dire not just in front of goal but all round play....

Added to that...this is probably the longest injury free period he's had in the last two years....He hasn't been out injured since when, November?? - so he's now had around 5 games for us, 16 or so for chelsea and maybe one or two for spain?? - so there can be zero excuses relating to fitness or match sharpness.

He looks laboured, heavy touch, almost clueless as too what he is going to do with the ball, and whats more he has a huge ****ing attitude problem - a permenant chip on his shoulder and a totally ****ed off with football/disillusioned look on his face - he looks fed up with it and i just don't see if he'll get back to half the player he was - i reckon he'll be given a season at chelsea - he might play well in half the games, he will score, but he'll also be anonymous in other games and i wouldn't be suprised if he comes out with the old "wife misses Spain" or "i want to bring up my child in spain" - and he'll be off back to atletico

yep....only i don't think he's man enough to admit that yet...he'll run off to spain, and then in a few years when all is done and dusted and kenny has led us to 20 league titles and another european cup, somewhere in a tapa's bar in Madrid, torres will be telling anyone who'll listen that he should never have left Liverpool

I think this is the biggest problem with him, he realises he ****ed up leaving Liverpool and it is doing him in mentally. At least with us he looked like a Premier League footballer, since his move to Chavski he doesn't even look like a Conference League footballer

we played to his strengths and set the team up around him. chelsea dont. owen and madrid is exactly the same.

he did **** it all up tho when he left so fook him.

                      Since Fernando left :

                      Maxi has scored 7 goals
                      Kuyt has scored 10 goals
                      Suarez has scored 4 goals
                      Merieles has scored 3 goals
                      Carroll has scored 2 goals

And in that time Skrtel, Cole and Johnson have scored the same amount as Torres has at Chelsea.

I can't believe how little I miss him right now.

                        Great stats.

**** him. I'm just gutted that after how we thought he was one of us, he couldn't even give Kenny a chance. Chelsea were never going to win the league anyway.

Wonder what those ex-Sky gimps Keys and Gray would be saying right now... actually, thinking about it they would be having a cumfest over the scum breaking our record.

Torres must be watching us play now and thinking "what the **** have I done?"

And I couldn't be more grateful to him for ****ing off as we got Suarez. Like Buzzo said it's incredible that we don't miss him in the slightest

He must be waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweats, crying when he realises he plays for Chelsea and that he did actually leave Liverpool.

Have to say though, Suarez and Torres partnership could have been pretty devastating.
