Depends who makes the signings though, eh? Roman has spent £80 odd million on two world class strikers who have been utterly horrendous.

Let the manager make the signings and they might improve. They have some great players, they just need proper quality up top now that Drogba is ageing.

They need reinforcements in almost all areas of the team.

They will need to replace Bosingwa, Lampard, Essien (perhaps), Drogba, Anelka, Kalou, Malouda, Torres etc.

Lot of money for Roman to spend if he wants to get to the top..

I didn't think I'd have any sympathy, but I feel sad watching him - he was idolised here and was considered one of the best strikers in the World. It's painful watching him struggle, I hope he gets a move back to Spain in the summer. In a few years I think he'll be more fondly remembered for his time here, they were certainly the best years of his career.

            Not painful at all.

            He chose his own destiny.

He left in a **** way, has acted in a **** way since and is a lazy, petulant coward in his new team. It's great!

And he's actually helping us stay in contention for a CL place.

I understand why people still hold that view, but I can't help feeling a bit sorry for him. He made a bad decision, it serves as a good example for other players who want to chase a bit of extra cash instead of playing for a great club. Torres was a legend here, he's an embarrassment at Chelsea.

It was his choice to move on and he deserves everything that goes his way now.

                  He could've been this..

best striker in the world once and his career highlight is being cheered as a sub at wolves.

It's been confirmed Atletico Madrid fans *were* singing for Torres. Over Falcao? Are they mad?

Torres did lose his grandmother this week, sadly. I wouldn't be surprised if that's why they're singing his name. Classy touch.
