Aww... Nando. His son is a Liverpool fan. I hate him most of the time but I usually remember him fondly. I wanted him to do well with Spain over the summer. Red suits him much better than blue.

I think its bizarre to hate someone as vehemently as some on here do when it comes to Torres. He was amazing for us, yeah he could have made his decisions better and chosen his new club better. Has he had time to think about it, regret it and wonder where his career was going? Yeah.
All of the haters who wanted him to suffer - I would say he did and you got what you wanted. Its been such a long time since then though. Let it go
I would ****ing love to see him and Suarez play together in red shirts. The numbers 7, 8 and 9 together would have been tremendous.

I've never blamed him for wanting to leave and I still don't..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

If he had have timed it better then there'd be more supporters that would think the same as you. After the WC when Roy got the nod everyone expected him to hand his transfer request in. Had he had done it then we could understand. He hung around until Kenny got the job and their was a bounce to the place, and the football was pretty good. Had he have given Kenny till the summer and it wasn't working, again people may not have complained. By all intense and purposes things were looking up and he pulled the pin............ and went to THAT team!Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI've never blamed him for wanting to leave and I still don't."That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
