Suarez causing havoc and making space for Torres. Think they'd have been incredible together.

    Oh well.

I don't think anyone could argue now that leaving was the right choice for him professionally. He won the FA Cup and Champions League last season and could very well win the League this season if things carry on as they are.

I was furious when he left, mostly because of the way he left. Also because it showed, to me, that we were going backwards as a club.
I can't stay angry at him forever, the fact that he's had such a **** time at chelsea has made me feel a bit better about it. Like he's done some kind of karma / penance and I do chuckle a bit that his winner's medals have come as some last ditch sub when the opposition are all tired.
I wouldn't have him back, just wish he hadn't left when he did. He'd be great under Brendan.
He still looks weird in Blue.
Also I still hate Owen. The judas, **** spouting little ****.

I just don't get all this 'the truth will come out' ****e, he's already said he wanted/had to leave to go to a better/richer club to win things, so it can't be that he was forced out, surely.

Also, why would we want to force him out, it's not like we needed cash desperately, we spent most of it on AC ffs.

No, it just doesn't make sense, that JH and co somehow lied or broke a promise to him or forced him out either, he wanted to go to Chelsea imo, simple as that, and for that i don't blame him considering each clubs fortunes over recent times.

I just hate ex players coming out with excuses, especially ones they wont tell you, and only say..'one day..one day'.

Anyone got a full transcript of that interview?

Suarez was bought to play with Torres, not replace him.

I think they'd have been awesome together

I've stopped being furious with Torres, and there is the uncanny situation that anyone who leaves the club is chucked under the bus PR wise.

I believe Torres, as I do Mascherano and Meireles about the truth coming out on their departures.

My opinion on this matter is that Liverpool have existed for over a 100 years.. We had many players that were amazing.. Torres was one of them.. however he decided to leave and if the honour of wearing a Liverpool shirt isnt enough for him then so be it.. We will always have a player in our side that does amazing things on the pitch.. Another Torres will come along soon enough.. just like we had a new Keegan, A new Rush , A new Fowler , a new Owen

The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

If a player wants to stay, as with Agger recently, then they'll sign a contract and stay where they're loved. He just didn't love us enough and so I'll carry on hating him for choosing that soulless place. I'd have accepted a move to City, but Chelsea was a kick in the nuts regardless how much he's proven correct in the decision.

Besides, like he gives a **** what anyone on an internet forum thinks

All of the haters who wanted him to suffer - I would say he did and you got what you wanted. Its been such a long time since then though. Let it go

I would ****ing love to see him and Suarez play together in red shirts. The numbers 7, 8 and 9 together would have been tremendous.
I'd say his decision was entirely vindicated given that he won the CL, FA Cup and Euro 2012 within two years of leaving us.

I hated that he left, but felt sorry for him after he struggled for so long. And I think this interview shows that deep down he's a good person, his heart is in the right place, and I forgave him long ago.

Was pissed off at the timing he left us and he talked a bit of **** when he left about us, i had a whinge and got over it ages ago. Anyone still slagging him off is a loser, it's irrelevant at this stage. The guy clearly made the right decision to leave and has cleaned up professionally since, whilst we as a club have regressed. I really couldn't give a flying **** about him. Don't wish him any luck but don't wish him any harm either.

                          In short....whatever.

Maybe when Falcao goes to Chelsea we'll take him back

                                He's never coming back mate.

Signed a five-and-a-half year deal didn't he?! I'd take him back but I can't ever see it happening.
