FWIW....it's clear that Suarez wanted out, and there was some **** leaked out a year back, but he acted the complete professorial last season, and even excelled following any ructions from that period last summer.
His statement may contain the usual platitudes (wouldn't surprise me to see similar statements around his leaving of Ajax), but's its clear he was a wonderful fit for the club and fought tooth-n-nail every minute he played, and there are valid reasons for him wanting to move, so best of luck.

Will probably just keep calling him Suarez (or vole, affectionately), as he's not down there with the Judas and the Traitor.
