Not been impressed with Milner at all. Was expected big things from him when he signed. His work rate is excellent and he gets stuck in but he's so painfully slow & slower on the ball, also seems to fall over a lot.... which I find quite odd.

In saying that, he is the least of our worries & is a good squad player to have.

...started off on the road to a whinge... and then clawed it back... Nice work!

          I agree with Dan again

I thought Milner might be better than this. I didn't expect him to suddenly become the dynamic midfield general that Brendan seemed to think he could be; but similarly my City ST holder brother in law was gutted that we'd got him as thought he was one of City's most consistent performers

I think with the manager that promised him a central midfield slot being out the way, he will accept whatever role Klopp has for him

Long term, I see that as being the same utility player role that he had at City

But yeah, he's not really shown the same form here he did there
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Milner and in fact most of our side this season has suffered with a serious lack of quality in and around the goal. Get a proven goalscorer in and we look a much different side.

The money we've wasted on strikers

yeah I think you're right, because we've had such a poor standard in front of the goal we've been looking to our midfielders to chip in & alot of the focus has been on them.

It's absolutely crazy the money we've spent on gaol scorers, that don't score goals.

The English disease. They see an Englishman who can't kick a ball but can run a lot and has once played for a big team. Rinse, repeat and everyone's shocked England don't do well in international tournaments.

Where you watching a different match? He put in some excellent crosses, one twos on the right and gave us some shape.

Another decent performance, he's had a pretty decent season too.

If this isn't tongue in cheek, then the first symptom of the 'English' disease is denial. Why do you think this disease outlives most generations?

                                (I know you're Australian/in Australia but the disease isn't)
