Anyway, I'm very worried that the club hasn't gotten him tied down already, he could very well receive tempting offers to play regularly in the CL for a nice pay. His contract situation has been badly handled by the club but I see a player that realises his importance to the club and appreciates the club and the fans.
We make a fair and reasonable offer and I'm 100% sure he'll sign the new contract.

I hope you're right but I have a bad feeling, we get an offer for him soon and he'd might want to talk to other clubs, all City have to is put forward an offer better than ours.
