Obviously it won't only be just the two. Currently, Henderson is the captain and a regular starter, he isn't good enough for either role so it may be best for all parties if he moved on. Can't see him being happy losing the armband and his regular starting spot.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

On Sunday we saw our players look very tired in the second half. Klopp doesn't have a lot of faith in some of the squad players so they dont really play and some lads are overplayed like clyne, albie, Can, hendo (even being ill still started v united). If were going for league, cups and Europe next season there's no such thing as 11 regular starters.
You need 18 lads all starting regularly - playing one game in two to keep the freshness. Emre Can wont play as many games as this next season, neither will clyne nor Moreno or hendo. Klopp may not want to make too many adjustments at gk and central defence but fullbacks, central midfield players and attacking players all need rotating for legs.
So called pundits keep asking whether klopps high intensity style will work in the premier league. It will if our squad is big enough with enough depth. Even if hendo doesn't start the first game, it doesn't mean he wont start the second.
Also with more variety in midfield we will be able to approach games differently. At the moment its the same style every game but if you have hendo, Can, xhaka, grujic, Stewart plus one more then you can set up differently v different opposition/home-away etc... Home and vs the **** teams we take the game to the opposition and Can and xhaka play. Away from home and vs big teams we play hendo to stop the opposition from playing.
If we were regular semi finalists of the champions league and had a squad to match you could justify Selling Henderson. But were not and It makes no sense when there's plenty of other cannon fodder we could shift first.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

So, are we going to replace our homegrown player quotent with under 21s then, cos all I seem to see is we are buying foreign and folk seem to think that it's the homegrowns (Henderson, Allen, Sturridge etc) who might make way.Originally posted by cream View PostChaka-Can looks very likely for next season. I think Henderson will be sold.

I'm not suggesting selling those 3 but it wouldn't have as much impact as you might think. Of the 8 association trained places in the squad 4 places are reserved for club trained players (those who have been at the club for 3 years before the end of the season in which they turn 21) Players who are currently under 21 don't need to be included on the list.Originally posted by Scratch View PostSo, are we going to replace our homegrown player quotent with under 21s then, cos all I seem to see is we are buying foreign and folk seem to think that it's the homegrowns (Henderson, Allen, Sturridge etc) who might make way.
Our homegrown players over 21 are: Clyne, Milner, Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Allen, Ings, Flanagan (Gomez, Ibe and a number of others don't need to be included) But of the 8 listed only Flanagan is club trained, so we aleady have 3 spots that we can't use.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Liverpool's Home Grown players (taken from the Premier League site)
1 Allen, Joseph Michael
2 Clyne, Nathaniel Edwin
3 Flanagan, Jonathan
4 Henderson, Jordan Brian
5 Ings, Daniel William John
6 Lallana, Adam David
7 Milner, James Philip
8 Sturridge, Daniel
Barbosa de Oliveira, Roberto Firmino
Benteke, Christian
Bogdan, Adam
Coutinho Correia, Philippe
Lovren, Dejan
Mignolet, Simon
Moreno Perez, Alberto
Pezzini Leiva, Lucas
Sakho, Mamadou
Sanchez Diaz, Jose Enrique
Skrtel, Martin
Teixeira, Joao Carlos
Toure, Kolo Abib
So, if we suspect Henderson, Allen and maybe Sturridge (just going by what I read on here, nothing else) then we are either going to replace them with inexperienced youngsters as token gestures, or maybe certain players aren't as much at risk as we suspect and instead some of the "foreign" quota may be replaced instead (bold)?

there's a story going around that all this fuss about hendo has come about because of henderson blaming klopp's training methods for his injury not healing. He has been quite vocal about that apparently and this has caused some friction between hendo and klopp.
so maybe hendo will be on his way in the summer after all.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

As if.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

the story came from graeme kelly. he does get quite a bit right but hendo's injury problems were there before klopp came. If anything klopp has got hendo through most of that and hes back playing again.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI know you're only sharing but what a load of ****ing ****e.
As if.
