    His height will annoy Dan

Or Majer if you want to see a guy whose stats are moving towards elite though he is more an AM most of the time

Well rounded player but agree with Dan. He’s a midget.

Dan did not call him anything, just that Dan mentioned Elliot's size in another thread.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Maybe Fergie had a point about Hendo's running style which was laughed off by Rodgers at that time & it's all coming home to roost.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Do we think Hendo's running style would've appeared in his book if we didn't beat United to his signature?

Probably not...hey, no smoke without fire & all that?

Possibly In Hendo's case though, when mobility/stamina/pressing are part of your biggest strengths (he was absolutely excellent in this area) I think it's going to be obvious to all when this starts to dip. If everyone is suffering from a gruelling 2021/22 then I do see why Hendo can't be - doesn't necessarily mean his legs have gone. I feel like he's willing to play injured sometimes too

Yeah, should bin off the internationals after the world cup & start thinking about his recovery periods to prolong his Liverpool career as not getting any younger.

My MotM tonight. Was everywhere, constantly nicking the ball back and holding on to possession

I thought he played well also.

Faded at the end, but that was as much down to the changes.

was busy, but some of his passing was off or of poor quality; howeever i think ihe is a victim of his high standards; his overall performance was above 80% of current prem midfielders IMO.

Apart from that though he was absolutely terrible.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Its weird how there is always an online agenda against someone, and that people cant admit a player, who, whilst maybe not at the peak of their powers can still have the odd good game. Its as if anything that is commented upon has to happen from then on in perpetuity without any possibility for improvement or otherwise.

Last night I thought it was Carvalho that struggled a bit, and was caught in possession a few times, which is forgiveable given his age and experience.

The biggest issue with Hendo, is, as stated that we are still so reliant on him. Ideally we would want him to be filling last 20 in like he did against City in big games, leaving him to start games like last night.

But, peoples minds are made up.

Sorry Buzzo, but posting a list of mostly context free stats like that isn’t evidence that you seem to suggest. He was alright, did his job but could have used the ball better. If they score their penalty, nobody is coming online to say how well he played or how captain like his performance was. Yes there are people who will be over critical out of habit, but there are also people trying to make out that an average performance was great because he wasn’t crap. Both have been a bit of theme with Henderson over the years.

He's not at the level he was at when we won the league but he still puts in good/decent performances all the time people seem to say he's **** when his level is dropped a little.

I think Henderson has played too much football recently and ideally needs a break or not to be playing more than one game a week, unfortunately the demands of this season and the injuries in midfield mean that isn't happening, I fear this is going to happen to all our midfielders at some point this year.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
