    Exact quotes.
“It was a tough one but I needed to think what was best for me, which is playing, and when you scale it up, Liverpool and Bournemouth are fighting for the same things.

“It was a kind of surprise, there were mixed emotions, that is life, they had great players and I just felt it was time to leave and crack on.

“The manager told me that Eddie Howe showed interest and not being in the Europa League and Champions League there would be limited chances to play so I thought it would be the best move to come here.

“Liverpool are not in the Europa League so would it really make a difference? And I would have more chances to play at Bournemouth than Liverpool so it doesn’t really matter.”

As in we're both challenging for European football?

If so, I guess he's just trying to saddle up to the fans. But yes, it's ****e.

Was that teh game when he scored the rocket with his left foot?

He had an excellent pre-season last year, although somewhat ironically that probably was counterproductive as it raised expectations and with the pressure of replacing Sterling, it was all maybe a bit much for him.

I was super excited when he came on over here for the friendly. It was the highlight of the match for me. By a mile.

And yeah, now it's all a bit meh. Very rapid descent.

From that debut against Everton where he was MoM and hit the post, to us being happy that he's been sold in less than 2 years!

Apparently we do - mentioned at the bottom of this - http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport...rpool-11614855
