Markovic has talent but he seemed to struggle physically & mentally this season, not sure about him but playing him wingback is doing him or LFC no favours.

Lallana was hard to judge as he's had such a stop start season with injuries. I like him as a player but the amount of injuries are a worry.

Coutinho is our best player & I agree build a team around him. If we had of had better strikers in front of him & likes of Lucas behind him all season.. I reckon he could have doubled his goals/assists tally. Fabulous talent

we would all like to think that apart from coutinho the other 3 should all improve vastly - ibe just with age, markovic with experience and lallana with his fitness.

coutinho too is still very young and there's plenty of improvement left there too.

do we then need another attacking midfield player ?

If Raheem leaves, then we would need to replace him with another player as well as those you mentioned.

For me, Markovic should hopefully get better - but you wouldnt bank on it either would you? You probably wouldnt rely on him to play every week without another option.

Lallana too - people have high opinions of him (i think he was a car crash of a signing) but in reality, he hasn't shown enough this season to make us say "yes Lallana can play every week and be one of our most important players" - he will hopefully have a better year next year but you wouldnt put your mortgage on it either.

I would build the team around Coutinho to be honest. He adds goals to his game and he is one of the best in europe.

If raheem sterling does end up leaving this lad will take his place in the squad and with coutinho, marko and lallana thats probably just about enough.

You've just confirmed that his parents are his advisers. So it makes sense that the club spoke to his advisers. He has advisers. His advisers are his parents. Parents == Advisers.

Maybe sometimes, but my sense (in this instance) is that it's as much (if not more) about the attitudes of modern players and their agents as it is about the club

Times - Jordon Ibe is set to sign a 5-year contract with #LFC next week. The club agreed a deal in principle with his advisers this week.
- Ibe has only the formalities to complete on a deal that will run until 2020. The deal increases his weekly salary from £6k to £30k.
