Imagine a young Stan Collymore with a non ****ed up brain?

I reckon he would have been legendary.

Fowler up in Belfast with some sports thing talking about today's game on SSN.
Seemed a bit concerned with the hurlers behind him cracking the sliotars downfield.

Training was a bit religious today. The sun was shining an GOD came to train with us for a few days. #LEGEND

His Indian's Premier League gig fell apart so he is free to do what he chooses.

Robbie Fowler hoping to earn Blackpool contract

Former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler has trained with Blackpool with a view to joining until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old approached Tangerines boss Ian Holloway this week and could make his debut on Friday evening against Hull.

Fowler left British football in 2008 after a spell with Cardiff and has since played in Australia and Thailand.

He is the fourth highest scorer in Premier League history with 163 goals

Oh wow, this is all news to me.

What happened with the Indian League thing? Why didn't it work out?

                      It has been postponed.

They supposed to use 6 stadiums for their 2 month long league competition but only 2 were in ready condition so they had to put everything on hold for next couple of weeks.

When Robbie found that out he tweeteed something along "I'm professional not amateur" and basically cut all ties with that gig.

Mad that he approached them. He obviously loves the game and wants to keep playing, and I really respect that, but part of me wishes he wouldn't bother with the whole journeyman thing.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
