I think he should have held his hands up when he was here the summer before he was sacked, that he got the job too young and he's not capable of the task of rebuilding after Suarez. Not that his ego would have ever allowed it. The door would have been open for a return.

Also he was one who ****ed up the Sterling contract, 50 million isn't looking too clever now, it never was in my mind. Sterling goal/assists also worth 8 points for them this year..

None of the top 6 are ever going to come calling, so he wasn’t going to get a better offer than Leicester if he had waited and finished another treble in Scotland.

All this moved very quickly, there was obviously discussions before Puel got the boot.

For a man who's very keen about his image, his PR is disaster. Not hugely popular at Liverpool, now at Celtic. Timing is everything.
