Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has warned off any rivals from trying to lure psychiatrist Steve Peters away from Anfield after crediting him with a crucial background role in the club's revival.
Peters was on the Liverpool bench at West Ham last weekend, another indication of him being a key appointment by Rodgers during the early months of his reign last season.

In his post-match interviews recently Stevie has seemed calm and focused, as if he doesn't fear failure and can just get on with the job. There's definitely been a different vibe about him.

Clive Woodward was on the radio a couple weeks ago talking about Steve Peters and what he can bring to a team or sports individual. Said he is amazing. Ronnie has also said the same. If there is someone who can sort Ronnie O'Sullivan's head out they must be good
