My memory isn't what it once was. I used to remember every goal and result every season. Now I struggle to recall the previous week's games. Or who we even played.

Would be much better than Downing in the forward 3, deep in a 442 clearly didn't suit Dirk. The movement and work rate of a front 3 of Suarez, Kuyt and Borini would have been excellent IMO.

He'd obviously be a better bet than Downing but Kuyt's time had come at LFC.

I'm made up for him that he's started his Turkish adventure in such a rich form of goals but I suspect that has something to do with the standard of the league and opposition.

He had a release clause and fehnerbache triggered it. If LFC wanted to keep him they would have not been able too

I think he could have been very useful. That said if the manager didn't think he could offer him fairly regular game time then it was best for all concerned that he left.

Still think he was underused last season (as was Maxi).
