Doesn't mean we aren't Lee, just means that we will have to pay Madrid a fee.

Oh well, we don't need world class players anyway.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

well part of me would have loved us to have signed up back - that side, was it the type of signing we want/need i'm not so sure?

that said i'm pleased he's signed his extension, cause i'd have been gutted if he'd gone chelsea/utd.

funnily re united, some cunt was on SSN the other day, it was either on soccer Saturday/goals on Sunday or Sunday supplement…

they were talking about United’s midfield issues….how they’ve ****ed up and not built properly for the future etc etc and his solution was “just go out tomorrow and buy xabi Alonso"

yes because buying a 32 year old is a good way of sorting for the future
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Well I must have got it on a subconscious level to have been able to steal it, but the subtlety of it is well lost now.

Xabi Alonso: Real Madrid player to have Bayern Munich medical

Bayern Munich are in talks to sign Xabi Alonso from Real Madrid and the midfielder is set to have a medical with the German club on Thursday.

The 32-year-old has been at Real for five years following his £30m move from Liverpool in 2009.

The Spaniard, a Champions League winner in May, only signed a new two-year deal in January.

Alonso announced his retirement from international football on Wednesday after 114 caps.

He won two European Championships and a World Cup with Spain.

Alonso started his career at Real Sociedad before joining Liverpool, where he also won the Champions League, in 2004.
