If anyone of our past players would make a good Manager it would Xabi.

More than any of our other past players, I want Xabi to be a brilliant manger for us at some stage in the future. He's made a great start with BL. Did a stadium tour there a few months ago and the guides were talking about how much he is loved for all sorts of reasons.

Might he be the first to move from the LFC forum to the legends forum and then back again?

'Alonso has clause in Leverkusen contract that allows him to leave at end of season for former club'
Former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso is the early favourite to succeed Jurgen Klopp at the club following the German's shock decision to stand down as manager at the end of the season.
Liverpool's potential pursuit of Alonso, who is boss of Bayer Leverkusen, may reportedly be made easier following a clause in his deal at the Bundesliga side.
German publication BILD claims the Spaniard, who is contracted at Leverkusen until 2026, has a clause in place which allows him to leave at the end of the season to any of the three major European clubs he used to play for: Liverpool, Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.

Reading between the lines here, that Jurgen suggests that Pep replaces him & the Club reject the idea as they already have Xabi ( or whoever ) lined up complete with his own back room staff or Jurgen is considering the job with Germany & has offered them all a job when he does take it.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I struggle to see beyond Xabi. Who would be your second choice?
                            Really?

Bayern Munich have just lost to VfL Bochum.

Xabi is now 8 points clear after same amount of games.
