Newcastle's next game is Aston Villa. Norwich have Man Utd, Sunderland have Chelsea. It's looking more positive for Newcastle but the others have a game in hand.
Norwich are guaranteed to hand Utd three points so Newcastle should feel safer. Thought Sunderland would stuff a spiritless Stoke but even they fecked up.
I reckon he should stay if they go down, get em back up after a summer of change and he'll probably be a legend there. If they win at home to Swansea next weekend things suddenly might look a bit different anyway as they've also got the 3 points off Villa to come aswell. A win for Norwich somewhere though probably finishes them and think they've got a couple of nice home games coming.
Shame with Rafa and whatever the circumstances ultimately he failed at both Inter and Madrid.
The Newcastle job was I guess a calculated risk from him, if he had managed to keep them up it certainly would have added to his cv however it really looks unlikely he'll do so and you wonder if there will be any more opportunities in the PL to manage again.
