Thank you, it's been an honour

    05/01/2016

Now, at the end of my time as first team coach of Real Madrid,I would like to use this article to say goodbye to everyone at every level of the club. I want everyone at the club from the Board of directors, executives, workers and all of the fans, know that it has been an honour and privilege to be in charge at this club.were I grew up as a person, player and coach from the lowest categories through to the first team. As a madridista from Madrid, steeped in the traditions and values of this institution, which I learned in the old sports city of Castellana, it has been an honour to work for these colours. I would especially like to thank everyone at the new sports city and the Santiago Bernabéu who since my first steps through the door have supported me and made my work easier. Thanks to all for helping.

With all that I have said still in mind, I would like to wish good luck to Zinedine Zidane,my successor, and his staff. To all the players, coaches and staff in both Valdebebas and Bernabéu, I wish all the best and also good luck.

With all my respect and thanks... HALA MADRID and NOTHING ELSE.

While it wouldn't be nice for reds, It'd be funny to see him get the Everton gig which will probably be free soon, the blue****es heads would blow up. Then he'd make them quite good and show them what dickheads they all are for thinking he's ****. But that won't be great for us. Can't see where he'd go in England to be honest, can't see him being wanted at Chelsea, don't think Wenger is going and they probably wouldn't want him either cos again their fans all think he's ****, wouldn't go to United I wouldn't think so he's going to have to readjust his expectations and go lower down the table.

I think he should just go back to Valencia. Premier league isn't going to happen for him again at the top level.

The madrid fans and club are a joke alright though. But you know what, surely it wasn't a surprise to Rafa. I think the only reason LFC managed to keep Madrid at bay 2 or 3 times is because Benitez didn't want to fock off to a club where he would only last a season when he could have build a dynasty at LFC.

Well i think that was the plan anyway. Fockin Hicks and Gillett really ****ed us over. When you look at a first 11 of Reina, Finnan, Carra, Agger, Arbeloa, Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard, Kuyt, Riera, Torres and compare it with the garbage that we see us with now (who would get into the team above?? Probably Coutinho and nobody else......maybe Clyne)

I think that Benitez is made for a team like Spurs...... they spend enough cash to buy good players but still need tactical advantage to compete at the very top. Although Spurs are very happy with their manager right now so i can't see him going there.

A lot depends on where Guardiola goes. Maybe the guys who run man city would appoint Benitez if Pep didn't go there. Especially if they crash in the champions league this season as Rafa might be the man to push them to their promised land of european glory.

He would actually be a good manager for United but (a) their fans would riot (b) i don't think Fergie would have it either (c) i would like to think that Rafa wouldn't go there

I just hope he doesnt rock up at a Sunderland or Newcastle.

I like Klopp (i think it's going to be an adventure!) but if JK wasn't in place, then i wouldnt be adverse to seeing Benitez at LFC....

This cunt of a club booed Casillas ffs.
The most fickle fans around, and that's saying something

As long as you win every game and score loads of goals while playing attractive football with the most expensive players in the world.

    Sense of entitlement or what.
