Jamie was probably just confused as to why he's on ITV

not so sure. Obviously Howe has done a great job, but who knows what kind of owners this new crowd are. If Benitez is their #1 choice, then maybe they would just go for it.

Probably unlikely but who knows. If they think that Rafa would be able to attract better players and take them to the next level, then they could end up doing it. Emery was favored ahead of Howe and now with this athletic article, it looks like Rafa was favored ahead of them both. If they were prepared to buy out Rafa's everton contract, then they won't think twice of paying off Howe now. Unless of course they now think Howe is doing a brilliant job (he is) and is the best choice.

He'd have been nailed on IMO if Howe hadn't performed, but no way they can get rid of him now.

Maybe we should take him on as goal kick coach.

It was pretty funny hearing the Rafa song get an airing yesterday, a bit embarrassing for him, but funny nonetheless.

Yeah I can’t see him managing in the PL anytime soon. In fact I doubt he’ll do so ever again tbh.

I don’t think his stock is that high. Think he’d need to drop a division or go to Qatar or such like.
