He'll probably keep himself available, and see how Arsenal do this season, Spurs at the end of the season, and anything that else that may crop up.

He'll be 60 next April, so his next job has to be the right one IMO.

Why? On a hiding to nothing there imo. They haven't got a lot of money and their best players were all loanees who have gone back. Tough gig that one imo Rafa can do a lot better

I agree they dont have a lot of money. But they optimise their finances with loan deals (no capital outlay) So Rafa could basically loan in players he wants. They were close to getting into the PL last season with a manager with absolutely no experience. Rafa seems to be very settled in the UK. Yes he could do better, but who of the better teams is likely to take him? Like you say its a tough gig, yes, but Rafa likes a fair challenge

They offered him a one year contract and no assurances.

I suspect it'll be pretty toxic there soon enough.

That and i thought Ed Woodward would have enough on his plate.

I suppose they could only really do that given they are trying to sell the club. There's no way Rafa should be treated like that or accept that though.
