He'll probably keep himself available, and see how Arsenal do this season, Spurs at the end of the season, and anything that else that may crop up.

He'll be 60 next April, so his next job has to be the right one IMO.

Really didn't expect him to make a move like that but can't say I'd judge him badly for it. It's a shame - I'm sure he could have got a decent project in Europe.
          Really?

He's saving up to buy Tranmere Rovers.

Then he can walk to work and have meetings with himself about who he is allowed to sign.

It seems weird that he would go to china, its a ballache of a commute.

He, quite rightly, moaned about wanting a project at Newcastle. Then instead he takes charge of some unknown in Asia?

I love Rafa, and can't begrudge him a big payday, but surely he had better options available?

I guess he didn't fancy staying out of the game for too long, and assess his options in 6 months-1 year's time.

It's a massive payday too. I know he doesn't need the money, but it's a free hit for him. It was either reject a £12million offer to take a sabbatical, or take it, experience another culture, stay in the game, and see what big jobs come up next season.
