If there is a chink in Rodger's impressive armour its his ability to buy talent. If we are to get the right players in Brendan will have to leave most of the work to the City scouts, and then trust their judgement (Coutinho/Sturridge).

Subsequently, its up to FSG to cough the money up for those players. Forget a league challenge next season, just staying in the top 4 will be quite daunting.

I'm never one for calling a Liverpool player, in fact I'm the complete opposite but I just don't think Aspas is anywhere near the standard we need.

We played the same short corner out to Glen Johnson in the first half. I assume he was trying to do the same thing but ****ed it up. It was poor but the abuse he gets on here is uncalled for and a bit embarrassing.
