On Illori, Villa have a new manager who may see things differently. That could be a good or bad thing for him. He will at least stay until January you'd think. By then Sakho will be back and we may or may not be as desperate.
I dare say though that if we still need a new CB in January, I'd be more inclined to sign a proven one than take a gamble on a kid who can't make the Villa bench and who only featured on occasion for Bordeaux last year.
I'd gladly take him back to assess him in training mind as I think he has promise and of course it'd be nice to have him NOW when we are short of options. I'd say the same for Wisdom too.Forwards.......

Mama: It's good news, I'll be back ASAP
Mamadou Sakho is determined to return as quickly as possible for Liverpool after receiving the welcome news that his injury is not as serious as initially feared.
The France international was forced off shortly before half-time in the Anfield clash with Crystal Palace earlier this month due to an awkward fall following an aerial challenge.
His misfortune interrupted an impressive run of form for the defender, whose displays during October earned the Standard Chartered Player of the Month award, as voted for by supporters.
But upon collecting the accolade at Melwood, Sakho delivered a positive update on his fitness – reporting that fans could see the No.17 back on the pitch sooner than anticipated.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: “I’m very happy because I think it’s good news. Everyone thought I had a big injury for a long time.
“But, thank God, I think it will be between four and six weeks. We will see the evolution. Now I feel much better, I work and I hope I will come back as soon as possible.
“For me, it’s not difficult. I take my injury like that because I can change nothing. I know which way I have to go, which road I have to take.
“I have the objective to come back as soon as possible, as strong as possible. When I come back I will try to give my best like before.”
Sakho was watching his teammates on television last weekend as Liverpool produced a sensational performance to beat Manchester City 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Frustration at not being involved in such a memorable display was mixed with huge pride in the standards achieved by Jürgen Klopp’s side.
He said: “I watched the game. I was in Clairefontaine in France and I watched the game on TV. I felt really proud about the team – it was a really good job.
“We played really strong and showed the team. Everyone felt the same. The most important thing is the team – everyone has to give 100 per cent.”What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Sakho named POTM - and pledges more to come
Mamadou Sakho pledged there's even more to come when he returns from injury after Liverpool fans voted the defender the Standard Chartered Player of the Month for October.
The France international started five of the team’s seven matches as the Reds navigated a busy period involving three different competitions without suffering a defeat.
Their best was saved until last too, with Chelsea beaten 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the month to give Jürgen Klopp his first Barclays Premier League victory.
Sakho was a reliable and robust performer that day and throughout October as the powerful centre-back strengthened his status as a regular starter in defence.
Misfortune was to follow in the form of an injury earlier this month but the No.17 insisted he’ll be back stronger than ever upon collecting his prize at Melwood.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: “I feel very happy. I have to say thank you to all of the fans and thanks to all of the players, because [if I was] alone on the pitch I couldn’t do anything!
“Thanks to the people who work around me, my physio and my wife – who help me to play well. Thanks to my mum because she prays for me every day. Thanks to all.
“My message is that I’m very happy. Thank you for the votes for me. I have said before that this year I will try to show the real Sakho.
“I think I have shown a little bit but I hope for them and for me the best is coming. I will try to keep the same level and work hard to try to play better, because everyone can play better. I will try to give my best again.”
Despite bravely attempting to continue, an awkward landing during the clash with Crystal Palace at the beginning of November forced Sakho off and has left him on the sidelines since.
“I’m very disappointed because I wanted to give 100 per cent all the time for the team and the new manager,” he said.
“But it’s life – sometimes you have to accept what God decides for you. I stay calm and work hard to try to come back faster, to be ready for the team. That is my only thinking now.”What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
