It has been said that this drug (fat blocker/burner) that he used is also used to hide other types of substance abuse, maybe UEFA said we won't chase this further if you don't sue us for loss of playing timeThose that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

So UEFA are saying please don't sue us for wrongly saying you had to be suspended for doping or we'll further uncover your actual doping?Originally posted by kev776 View PostIt has been said that this drug (fat blocker/burner) that he used is also used to hide other types of substance abuse, maybe UEFA said we won't chase this further if you don't sue us for loss of playing time
I think from what's out there, it's likely there has either been evidence found to show the substance does not have the performance enhancing or masking effect it was thought, the substance is an analog of a substance on the banned list but isn't itself actually on the banned list, or the substance was on the banned list but not listed as an ingredient in whatever Mama took.
That said, almost none of the information out there has come from UEFA or WADA so it's hard to be even close to sure about anything. You can see how in some of the above situations though, that both parties might want an amicable resolution and agree no further action by either side.Like blood on iron

I would assume that any competent organisation would protect themselves against legal action by putting something in the rules about a provisional ban while they investigate the circumstances (which is what has happened here) ...But this is UEFA we are talking about so who knows what the rules are or what has happened.Originally posted by Paul12 View PostBut not to have him available for our most important game of the 2015/16 season. Could we sue?
If someone in the lab has said that Sakho has tested positive for whatever substance and UEFA haven't checked that the substance is on the banned list and it isn't, then they have a case to answer. If the situation is that the substance belongs to a family of substances that are banned or it was on the banned list until Sakho's case flagged up that it shouldn't be then UEFA haven't done anything wrongThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Who knows? What I can tell you i sthat the game would have been totally different and that brain fart would most likely not have happened.Originally posted by brightred View PostWould we have won the Europa with Sakho?
Can't help thinking that he might have moved over and covered Moreno's brain fart.
Also his replacement was our MoM.

Yes Toure had a great game but the big thing that people tend to forget is that Sakho was much more than just a good defender, he also initiates most of our attacks from the back. Toure was hoofing the ball a fair bit whereas Sakho zips the ball into midfield which would bypass their forward pressers.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View PostWho knows?
