We have Klavan and Gomez returning, so I don't think we'll miss Sakho. He's hardly played a consistent run of games over the past year. He's a good player, but I don't really understand the cult status he holds over a section of our fanbase.

As for his comments. They're nothing really. It's just a player frustrated because things aren't going for him.

He's better than both of them, Gomez may well have a higher celing but has been out for a long long time and will probably take a few weeks if not months to get back to normal fitness and form.

Sahkos a really good defender, I reckon he's been working hard as he can and still being told that he's not gonna be picked, spat his dummy out and tried to get the fans on side to force the issue. Whilst I don't agree with Klopp freezing him out to this extent, this was not the way to go about it, and Sahko could well be moved on.

I love Sakho, but this is disappointing. His comments about 'Liverpool Country' and 'Scouse soldier' seem a bit manipulative and patronising to me tbh.

Unprofessional - he doesn't fit in with the Klopp management style. Its not the first time he's been pulled up for his lack of professionalism (PSG) and I think we're stuck with him now. The "scouse" manipulation doesn't sit well with me either.

Up until this I think most fans were behind him & maybe questioning Klopp's decision but this , well, it's shown that Klopp knows best it would seem.
