West Ham are nailed on, **** defence, inthe Capital.

Such a shame about Mama because he really seemed to epitomises Klopp feel good factor on the pitch. A real shame they couldn't forgive and forget.

To a degree alright, but there's clearly boundary that has to be observed, even with such an approachable manager that Klopp appears to be - and Sakho must be crossing that divide far more often than the man is want to put up with.
Probably far more often than the public finds out about for all we know.

He's clearly a talented player (although somewhat significantly exaggerated by some of the fanbase IMO), with an extended contract to 2020 (if I remember correctly), popular with the group, likeable, it's not like the defence is completely set in stone etc.........but he's got a very big ****ing mouth to go along with whatever his problematic relationship with Klopp is.

Either way, you've got to back the manager and what he's trying to do here I suppose. If it's yet another wake-up call by the manager........it's a ****ing good one.

Who knows how useful he might have proved this season, especially if we get injuries at CB and are in the race for the title. I hope we do sign another strong CB in January.

Apparently he's not even standing out at U-23 level now, maybe he needs more time but I think he's done at this club, a real shame since I rated him.

The Echo has been saying differently. Don't know about last night but before that they've been saying "another immaculate performance", "cruised through the game without breaking sweat", "didn't put a foot wrong" etc.

He's going to be a great signing for someone. I'd have thought he could do a damn sight better than Lille.

Sakho struggling to make his mark at U23s.

Bizarre. That's Andy Kelly. James Pearce has been saying otherwise - as have the regular reserve watchers I follow on Twitter. Appears this is another case of him splitting opinion. I find it remarkable tbh but there are times when he has clearly played very well and yet some people still think he's been **** because "he looks awkward".

Sakho stars - but writing is on the wall

There was no doubt who was the star attraction for the hundreds of local kids inside Prenton Park.

They chanted the name of Mamadou Sakho after the final whistle and he responded by going across to them to sign autographs and pose for selfies.

Sakho produced another dominant performance as he cruised through his fourth outing for the under-23s.

The highlight was the drag-back he produced to outfox Dominic Calvert Lewin. The fans lapped it up. Sakho also sensibly acted as peacemaker when tempers flared before the break when Everton took exception to a strong challenge from Cameron Brannagan.

Yet the fact that Sakho was on the teamsheet on a day when others on the fringes of the first-team squad were left out spoke volumes about his prospects under Klopp.

He’s heading for the Anfield exit door but the youngsters certainly appear to be benefiting from having him around at the Academy.

Yep I think a hell of a lot of Sakho's reviews, be it in the first team or now in the second string, are made based on the man and not on his performances.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

From what I've seen of the U23s he generally does an excellent job and makes the occasional **** up. He tends to boss the defence but it is the U23s after all so you'd expect that. He's certainly not error free though.

maybe general klopp has instructed agent pearce to try and fluff up sakho and make him sound irresistible to west ham for the january sales.

He might get a game after all based on our defending today!

Nope, don't think so. He's error strewn. We need another one like Matip who hardly puts a foot wrong.
                              Are we winning?
