Same thing could be said for a lot of our key players then, let alone a guy on the fringes like Sakho.


Would not be doing other clubs any favours on his price tbh, especially this early in the window. He could yet prove useful in a player plus cash deal for another CB or a good fee for him might be the difference in being able to bump up what we can pay for someone new.


He has pissed people off, not least Klopp, but he does have a lot of ability and that should reflect in what we ask for him.


Him being a bit of a silly bugger should not come into it. Does not seem to hurt other clubs when they are buying or selling players who have domestic violence offences, drink driving offences, and general proper scumbag tendancies on or off the pitch, so no way should we cut our price just because Sakho acts the fool a bit.


Sakho has been punished for his actions, and it looks to have cost him his LFC career, so no point in the club talking a bath on him as well if they do not have to.


Maybe they will have to sell him for 20m or 25m if that is the best offer that comes in, but I would let it go right to the end of the summer of even January if needs be. Huge money in the game now, so might as well aim high and flog him using that trite "premiership proven" line that often gets banded about
