I don't want to rely on Sakho, would his mind be 100% on the job? Suarez proved it's possible but he's a ****ing warrior, has Sakho ever showed this quality?

It would be in his best interest to play well and either win Klopp over or attract a top club for next year. I can't see it being a problem.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Granted it was over a shorter span of time, but Sakho played in a manner that showed he can stay at a high level game after game. He was a beast for them during his time there and it will have done nothing to hurt his value.
Personally I think too many bridges have been burned between him and the only person whose opinion matters in Klopp.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Its arguably the other way round, Sakho hasn't ever shown his daft side on the pitch to my knowledge. Whereas Suarez bit people
Sakho did very little wrong, far as I can remember? Been a while since he played for us. He seems like a bit of a prawn off the pitch, but even so, not in a Balotelli way; strikes me as being a bit of a character that takes things a bit far
Certainly wouldn't have any qualms with him playing for us again, if it's not too destructive to the team and manager
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

It's a world cup year, so presumably he will be wanting to play in that given that he missed the Euros due the the doping ban, so I would assume once the window closes and he knows he's not going anywhere he will be highly motivated by that...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I'm not one to knock the club, but making it obvious that you don't want a player is hardly the way to ensure you get top dollar for them.
I'm sure we could get 18-20m which would be decent business on a player who clearly had no future at the club something that ensures we can't demand 30m.
If Sakho was a first team regular we'd be in a strong position. But, he's not.
A French international class defender is worth what we say, not what we do. The window is still open and not having him ready for preseason will mess with clubs' schedules. We have enough leverage to do whatever the fck we want with him as he's still ours. Personally, seeing the market, I hope he stays and becomes a good backup to Matip and VvD.
I have a feeling that if there's one deal that ain't happening this summer its Sakho to Palace. They will come in with a £15-18m offer and 'be prepared' to go up to £20m at a push.

Initially I thought our stance of £30m was a bit too high, but since then we've been quoted £70m for VVD, Ake has moved for £20m and Keane for £31m.
Sakho was excellent for Palace during his time there, he's 27 and proven himself to be a top player, yes he has baggage but given the circumstances £30m seems fair.
