It's just comes at such a **** time though, probably our hardest game since Chelsea and certainly the most difficult for the foreseeable future and we were already handicapped with the International break. It also means we have to play Coutonho, who possibly could have been rested for this.

Would liked to have seen us with a full strength squad so we can have no excuses.

Two handy home games next I think, Phil can play in midfield and Sturridge up top also. I thought Gini did quite well today though.
