Agree with Clyne & Coutinho. Can looks marginally better than last season IMO but yeah there's room for more improvement. What about the captain? Is he any better or can he improve playing the holding role & are we better with him there or do we need to get a better holding mid?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I think Henderson has also improved, especially with positional discipline. He is doing a great job keeping the ball moving and understanding that it's key to get the ball to Fimino/Cout/lallana early so they can do the attacking. He has absolutely nailed the position and I can't see him losing it. Definitely one of the last positions we should worry about.Originally posted by SB View PostAgree with Clyne & Coutinho. Im really keen to see what happens with Moreno. Milner clearly isn't a long term answer. But who is a potential replacement as the first choice LB?96 Never Forgotten

Lallana seems to be absolutely vital to this team now, and he's revelling in it. Fair play to him, he's been excellent. I was dubious about him under Rodgers (not as dubious as frank the tank like...), but it looks like he was another player not being used correctly by a manager under pressure.
Well in Juergen.

It's clear that Klopp has got them moving the ball quicker and there's nobody in ****ing world football that needed to do that more than Lallana. A completely different player to early last year.
Also, he seems to be thriving off not having the pressure to provide assists and goals which has coincidentally has seen a surge in both.

He may have improved on last years dodgy form but that's about it as far as I'm concerned. He slows the play down IMO as his touch is ordinary for a player of his stature. Just my opinion though.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostI think Henderson has also improved, especially with positional discipline. I should have made it clearer that there is potential for better, but I struggle to think of any players who are an upgrade and available. I think it comes down to putting our resources to places which increase value as we don't have man city money. LB and RB are priorities for me, especially if we have Europe next season. Then wide players, then CB, then we can think of midfielders.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI totally disagree with this.96 Never Forgotten

I think Henderson is great as well, especially considering it isn't his natural game. I just think he can be horribly exposed at times.
Even Kante has had Drinkwater and Matip these last two years.
Wijnaldum for all his qualities is miles short of what we need at the moment - I feel he'll never be good enough but a good squad player. And while Can may improve he is also not ideal currently.

You would go for full backs over a new centreback?
I think our first choice full backs are amongst the best in the league. Perhaps after we buy a strong partner for Matip. I would put a world class goalie in there first too.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

who would you buy for the position Kenneth?
