That's a possibility. The easiest route would be to throw Lucas in the middle and pushing Gini a bit further forward, although we would lose some attacking ability.

Another possibility would be to take Milner back in to midfield, which would resemble the way we play the most, and then take a chance with Moreno at left back or maybe move Clyne there and give TAA a start on the right back.

Woy tested Sturridge's resolve now Southgate is doing the same to Lallana apparently
havent watched the video (at work) but if that is true, then LFC need to adopt the manc approach - pull their players out with the tiniest of niggles from international games.

The likes of Scholes and Keane didn't play an international friendly for years in the late 90s

              Yuk, stupid international breaks

It is well beyond time that they did something about the international calendar, why they don't condense the season and then have mini qualifying tournaments at the end of the season for internationals I don't know.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
              Mine angry and defrauded young?

ridiculous - the most annoying one is the start of the season - the players have a tough pre-season, premier league starts, 2 games in - ****ing international break.

I'd look at somehow as you say, condense the domestic season and defo look at doing the qualifiers as some sort of 'summer' football tournament in between the summers where nothing is on.

He's been playing for the U-21's, so he's fit enough to play. Definitely expect him to make the bench.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In the end it will be Kevin Stewart.

Why Lallana had to play the full 90 minutes against Lithuania, carrying an injury as well, is beyond me. The club should take some sort of action, seriously.

Sounds like it was in his arse.

Players should not be selected on the basis of how tight they are.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I hate that international managers keep picking players who are carrying injuries, they never have to deal with the long term consequences, Lallana being out for a month has no effect on England but is a massive problem for us.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
