I've always said yes in a heartbeat but he's just about started his decline, we have a great frontline, big ego and presence might disrupt that, a player joining on the wane to a squad on the up doesn't quite feel right.

A very cowardly use of the word 'possibly'.Originally posted by Fredo View PostHe's getting on at 32.
Come on, I loved Luis but it was 5 years ago. He possibly couldn't even cut it in Klopp's system nowadays. People should move on and would he settle for a bit part role in our system because he wouldn't be first choice while Bobby is here.
We're not building for the short term, so it would never happen. You guys are too sentimental.

Your up early Fredo.
Go on then, back it up with some rationale?

The only downside for me would be the press. All the biting and racism stuff was a real soap opera.
If we get Suarez 2.0 then he'd be amazing. Drop Bobby into the no 10 and then blow everyone away 5-0.

We’d need to change his name to Salah(nke) and hope they don’t notice

i Actually don't think we need him anymore with what we have
Need a midfielder more than a striker to be final bit of the jigsaw

Can't think of many players more dissimilar to Gary McAllister, and the calm level-headedness he brought to the centre of the pitch.

He's brilliant still, and could be a Gary Mac type signing. Always good to have that experience and a proven winner around the place. I'd definitely take him back.

I'd prefer someone like Pulisic, Dembele or Sancho, or maybe Fekir even. Luis wouldn't come here to sit on the bench and we have Bobby in his position.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostOf course I'd love him back, but I don't think it'd happen, unless one of Mane or Salah left, as I reckon we want Pulisic badly, but would look at Dembele too, if he wants to leave.
