There was an awesome moment in the warm up of the Eibar versus Barcelona game in Spain over the weekend.

Luis Suarez was getting loose by firing shots on target, when one effort went wayward and ended up hitting a young kid in the crowd.

Suarez immediately stopped what he was doing, and he jogged off to the sidelines.

On his way he removed his Barca training top, which he gave to the child to say sorry.

That said I think those 3 would score goals anywhere but not sure the stats would be so spectacular.

Suarez had 31 in 32 games I think for us, plus a load of assists. Now he's playing with Messi, Neymar and Iniesta as opposed to Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho so he kicked it up a notch.

He's also playing in the CL so there are more games = more goals.

They were playing a **** side at the weekend and barely got away with 2-1 but hammered Celta the other day 6-1, I reckon Celta would be difficult for us.

I think it's also important to note that La Liga had five sides in the CL and always do well in the Europa. I think overall, La Liga is at least on par with the Premierleague.

How **** is the rest of the league for players like that to be putting up those numbers each season?

If it's about the league, then i'd imagine there are loads of other strikers that score over 20 goals each season in that league, which is a top return in the Prem, no idea if this would be right or not, but if it's the league that's ****, there should be plenty on over 20 goals, understand everything is relative, and they don't all play for Barca, but goals should be easy to come by for any half decent striker.

Have to say this is true to a certain extent. Would be interesting to see the stats for MSN against say the traditional top 6 teams and then against the bottom 6.

I agree that the bottom teams in La Liga are pretty **** (but not worse than Villa, Sunderland, Norwich etc) and I had a glance at how they are doing in the champs league - the three of them are on average at least a goal or assist per game but their group mightn't have been that hard. I don't think we can doubt Messi in terms of getting goals in all games regardless of opponent and in fairness he has got hat-tricks in the Classico, goals in the finals of the Champs League etc.

It's just great that we get to see them and the mad thing with Suarez is that he seems to be getting better (at 29) and he looks like he has plenty of years left in him. We'll see how they go in the big games for the rest of the season starting tonight.
