That slow motion, out of the blue, bite on that Italian **** knowing full well he'd be banned long term thus f*cking us up and forcing our hand. Not sure that was winning mentality.

I usually flit between being cynical or a mug. In this case I choose the former.

He didn't bit to get out of Groningen, he just went on full strike, no running, kicking or playing football until they had to sell him to Ajax.

Probably doesn't explain the request to join Arsenal though.

I think that's spot on. Have you ever wanted to win so bad that when you're losing you do something stupid out of frustration? I know I have.

That being said the stupid things I've done, I've never actually harmed an opponent!

Luis wants to win, and win at all costs. The handball in the World Cup against Ghana showed us that. He knew he'd be sent off and banned for the rest of the tournament, but if it meant his team won he didn't care.

    I miss that passion.

    Luis

£85.9m prize/tv money if the season was to end today. We could afford him at £55m. Would need to sell to buy other plays, but we could afford Suarez

This is worrying news actually because Chelsea/City/Utd (disregard the history) will definitely pay the release clause. I'd rather they sold Messi.
