Just not at this stage of his career.

Also the best I’ve seen, and even though his best days are obviously behind him, I think he still has a lot to offer.. I’ve not watched a lot of Barcelona games, but his stats are impressive. Also his goal against Bayern was a touch of class (the only Barca game I watched this season).
Yep fair point - maybe I should have said the risk of drama and revisiting some of our less than stellar recent history

I just feel we have so many more options available to us now than back in 2014, without the baggage (whether real or perceived) that would come with Suarez

We arent a team of Mercs. So why would we want one at age 33 in the club?

It's one of those things you'd try on Football Manager. Firmino, Salah, Mane and Suarez would make defenders go permanently bog-eyed, but I don't think it'll happen.

The economics of bringing him in for a year (with maybe an option for another year) as cover would be interesting, since the uncertainty around any sort of meaningful transfer budget is debatable. Chelsea have already signed one of our targets in Werner, and look about to sign another one in Havertz. We may wait another year before looking to go big on younger talent.

However, the Suarez incidents have all occurred under FSG's ownership, and whether they'd even sanction a move after the two biting incidents, the racism incident, would be a determining factor.

Personally, I think he'll end up in Italy at either AC Milan, Inter Milan, or Juventus, and then there's possibly of Inter Miami in the US.

He’s been great for us yes, but I’d pass, especially because of the baggage he carries and what happened. The episode with Evra has to be one of the worst errors of judgement we’ve made under FSG. There is no chance we’ll be in for him anyway.

    Did you forget handshake-gate?

Think you’re focusing on the wrong details- what about when he came within an inch of single handedly winning us the league, in a team that otherwise had no business being in a title race! If he was still involved in these kind of controversies I would agree with you, but I feel like he’s a lot more mature nowadays..

I’d be surprised if we get him back, but definitely pleasantly surprised. Would be a great sub and great cover for the front 3. Would be similar to Fowler’s return.

I wouldn't have him back because he's old and injury prone now.
