Same. I was getting a bit dewy-eyed at the end

Amazing how young he looked when he started punditry. One clip showed him, Lawro and Lineker in 2003 - the year I got ****ing married - and the footage looked so old it looked like the 80s!

Didn't realise Lineker started on MOTD around the same time as Hansen, or just a few years later. How time flies.

Didn't bother watching it, but what's the reason behind him giving it up ?
****ing off to Sky...belatedly getting back to football in some capacity ?

Edit - actually, after reading this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...BC-pundit.html , he seems to be just giving it up.

Nah he's just had enough. Family man, only things he enjoys are golf and family time so he just wants to do that. Hates working Saturdays cos he likes getting pissed.

If you have access to the iPlayer it's well worth a watch.

Makes sense. Sounds better than sitting beside someone like Al Shearer and Gaz Lineker.

He considers Shearer as an excellent pundit, just so you know.

He was never going to say "he's ****ing ****" was he !!

MOTD will be much poorer for him leaving

                      Lovely programme. Lovely Guy.

I could watch Kenny, Hansen and Souness talk for a week sat there at the table, hard to explain the affection i feel for people i've never met in person, but it's there and it's strong.

The 50 great Scottsmen story was a classic.

In the programme do they mention his conviction for running around naked on Southport beach chucking a reluctant young girl into the sea? I think it was after he signed for us but before he played a game.

Well they are the three greatest players to have ever put on a red shirt in my opinion

Bob went on a spending spree after our first European Cup triumph and brought these three in all within a year of each other for a combined fee of £900,000 (a heck of a lot of money in 1977/78).

Could he talent spot or what?

The players they replaced (Keegan, Callaghan and Hughes) were no slouches either.

                            Good watch that.

                            Who's taking his place?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Just started watching it and it's giving me goosebumps already That clip of Kenny slicing a shot was hilarious That's the par 3 10th at Hillside which i've played loads of times, and the restaurant they're sitting in is The Warehouse in Southport. Feels bizarre watching this
