I had written him off, but there is still life left in the old dog. Would have been a waste of a really good song too.

    Well done Bobby!

Putting the rest to shame. Perhaps this is your 30 goal season.

He's our top scorer and is playing well, but he doesn't seem to be in Klopp's prefered side. What is his role at the moment? I would have thought that if we are playing a 4-2-3-1 he is most suited to the central role in the 3, but he hasn't started either games we've played that formation in.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It was a brilliant finish yesterday. Perfectly placed into that far corner.

He can't maintain the pace needed in that position for 90 mins, maybe better off the bench in the last 30 mins, attacking a tiring defence. Jota is good for the first 60.

I think bobby would be better in the more creative space rather than jota.

Absolute class tonight particularly when the game was tight.

This has to be one of his best spells for us?

Nunez signing has really gave him a kick up the arse, lethal in front of goal. Great to see

Or the final year of the contract boost.

I don't want to be disingenuous, he was class tonight and a rare success this season.

So in all comps since he signed for us Bobby has scored:

                    11, 12, 27, 16, 12, 9, 11.

He now has 8 goals in 12 games. At the very least must be aiming for his second most prolific season with us.

Excellent news. I am hoping Hendo and Trent have the good grace to tell England to piss off, but you know they won’t.

TAA and Hendo have been trying to do that through their performances, but they have forgotten that Southgate does not base his selections on form. He would still be picking Bobby Moore (were he alive) and Rooney.
